    Default quilted journal covers

Here are some journal covers I made. I free motion quilted my fabric before sewing my covers.I often quilt my own fabric for my projects.

They are beautiful! It never occurred to me to quilt the fabric before the embroidery, will have to give that a try.

Your book cover are fabulous. I'm just starting out with the machine embroidery, so your example of quilting beforehand will definitely come in handy. It would not have occurred to me otherwise!

They are lovely, would make someone a beautiful gift. I like the quilting and then the embroidery, gives a lovely lush look.

Thank you for showing us your lovely journals! I like the loop that holds the pen on the outside of the journal. I will have to try your idea of quilting the fabric and then adding an embroidery design. My fav. is the Christmas book. I think it would be a great gift to keep track of your gift list.
