Thanks for all the kind words.
In answer to some of the questions...
1. there is no batting in them - the seam raw edges give them some "thickness" - no binding on these - just "birthed"
2. the patterns are from the books "300 Paper Pieced Patterns" (that comes with a disc and can be sized on my computer) and also "101 Log Cabin Blocks" - which i had to reduce on my copier to the size i wanted.
3. most of them are between 2 1/4 and 2 1/2 square - the rectangles are about 3 1/2 long

Fabulous key chains! Love the colors and patterns. I made some for our first quilt show way back in 2005 - and I agree - those small blocks are harder and take longer to do than the bigger ones. Luckily I had another member do the finishing but I have learned since how to do it easily (for me). I quickly found out that binding something that small is impossible - I used the pillowcase type closure for them - and for ornaments I did later - and that worked out perfectly. And the overlap made a nice place to tuck I'm a little money or a gift card for the 3" ones!
I am excited to make some more for our show next year.
Thanks,
