:-D This is gorgeous. If I make one like that, not only would it be the first one I ever make, but the colors you chose would brighten every room I put it in. I know your mom would glow a happy countenance for receiving such a gift. She is so blessed.

Beautiful! And - as much as I hate to say it, it's good you embroidered her name on it. Nursing homes are brutal when it comes to keeping your property to yourself.

I love your quilt and I'm sure your mom will too. It always boggles my mind when I think of piecing something like this because I would never be able to figure out what colors need to go where when making the individual blocks. It is very impressive to me!
