    Default Quilted Placemats

I'm starting on my sister's Christmas gift early - quilted placemats. This is the first time using triangles that I have been able to perfectly match up the tips. I followed the advice of ladies on this board and used spray starch on the strips before I cut the triangles. Things are matching up perfectly and I'm so pleased with the results. I may just make a larger quilt with triangles now that I know the trick to perfect corners. The fabric for these placemats comes from JoAnns and should match my sister's plates perfectly. Now to make the remaining 6! Sorry for the poor picture quality - iPad.

Very pretty positive/negative colour placement and nicely matching triangles!
