I just have to share my treasures I found at the Quilted Raven quilt shop in Anchorage. What a great shop right in the middle of down town Anchorage. I hope I can go back some day! Alaska is such a beautiful state!

Oh, the moose wall hanging is an applique pattern (on the left in picture) but all the fabric pieces have been laser cut and already have fusible on the back! Woo hoo...shouldn't take too long to put it together.

Neat find. Never been to Alaska. Would be nice to go there sometime though.

that is a great shop. I went to Alaska in 2009 & that's the 1st quilt shop that I visited. I bought the photo album pattern & some fabrics there and bought other fabrics in 3 other towns. Finally made the quilt this past winter.

This was one of my favorite shops in Anchorage area. Missed it the 2nd time I was there. Did you get to the one in Wasilla, just north of Anchorage?? Need to find her web site to order some of the Alaskian fabric she had available.

Robinlee...we stopped at one of the shops outside Wasilla but I can't remember the name now. She had a nice shop too but I didn't buy anything. I was trying to refrain from buying fabric but then finally caved the day before we left. I just had to have something from one of the shops!

odomjenn...you have to find this shop. It's not huge but a great place to visit. There's another shop in Anchorage, The Quilt Tree, which is huge! They had all kinds of stuff.
