    The guild I belong to makes tote bags this way for the women's shelter. A member taught us this way after seeing a utube video many years ago. So there is no specific pattern. Below is a guide for you but you can change the size rectangles of the bag and lining to make larger or smaller totes.

    We cut fabric for the outer bag and lining to be 15"w x 30"l. If you are using batting cut it a bit larger than 15 x 30 and quilt the outside of the bag first and square it up and match the lining to the quilted rectangle. So many ways to make handles can be found on free online tote bag patterns. The flap is 3" x 5" and this size can be anything you like.
    I did use the link below to learn how to make the zipper pocket. It has step by step photos for zipper pocket. I hope this helps you.
