Quilted Twins is collecting quilts, blankets, etc to go to Poland. ! of the fabric mfg. is helping send a pallet to Poland. Becky is distributing quilts, food, beds, tarps & medical/emergency kits where they are needed. Rachel is collecting the quilts & there is a button for donations on their blog. All they collect goes to refugees. Check their blog for updates during the week.

Your quilt it so beautiful! Thank you for caring for people in war torn countries. And we donate through Quilted Twins also sadly they are the only place we trust. I follow their blog and they are wonderful!
What are your thoughts on making quillows with handles? I haven't ever made one but I sure can picture one. hmmmm

Quilted Twins are indeed wonderful. Pat Sloan also has a link to Lutheran World Relief, but they are only able to accept quits that are 60" by 80". Mission of Love, out of Youngstown OH, is also collecting quilts for Ukrainian refugees. More information on that is available through eQuilter.com.

Here is Pat Sloan's link to Lutheran World Relief. The video of their warehouse is amazing (link also found on Pat's site) and you can specify when you send your quilt that it goes to Ukraine by adding a pinned paper with the word "Ukraine" written on it. Here is the link: https://lwr.org/ai_file_subscribe/file/4968 with addresses on the last page (Minnesota and Maryland) They shoot for approx. 60" x 80" as it is easier for them to shrink wrap bundles of quilts if they are all approx. the same size.

I donated through Quilted Twins also. I am in the process of making pillowcases to send to them as they are in need of them to go along with the quilts they receive. I also trust them because we have seen Becky and her husband distributing to the refugees or to Ukraine. She put out a plea for pillowcases a few days ago.
