That is GORGEOUS! I just ordered the book OBW Enchanced? I think. So I could lean to do those 3d blocks. I think they're so cool! BEAUTIFUL job!

One Block Wonder - it's a quilt made using just one fabric. Check out the link at the bottom of this page to the OBW section.

I've just come back from Katrine's house and this is even more beautiful in real life, if you can believe it! Her quilting is absolutely awesome and all done freehand! :-D :-D :-D

To me, the "funnest" part of making these quilts is that you get to see something completely different when it's put together. You don't REALLY know what it will look like - yours is really nice!!! And, it IS fun to see the original fabric along with the finished quilt!

Think you mean OBW "Encore" Snugquilt - and yes that's the one with the cubes in, and no they're not hard to do - these are the first I've done, but won't be the last! When you cut all the bits for them, just lay them out like the pic in the book & the instructions are excellent for order of stitching.

I love it, especially the border which is so whimsical and fun.

Yes! That's it...now I can't wait to get it! I've made a couple of stack n' whack quilts, but I never really caught the 'bug' for those...they're cool to see the different things that happen with your fabric, but I just didn't really enjoy doing them. I'm excited to see about this technique!
