    Kathy I am so amazed at that border!! I love embroidery and that is so inspiring! The OBW is so fantastic! I can see why they are addictive! Can't wait to see the fabric for the next one now!! I am so excited now!!

    Look at the last download "Thread fun".
    Her free downloads are good too for ideas.
    Of course I can only aim to do it like her, but it is very forgiving because you can see where mine is "wonky", but the overall effect is good.

    I am working on my Feb doll quilt and I was drawing flowers for embroidery. I tried doing it with tracing a template and I like the look of the freehand better. It says done by hand in a way the perfectly shaped needlework doesn't. It gives it character that adds so much to the overall look. I love your wonky border. It looks like what it is hand done! and very pretty!!
