Thank you so much everyone - I am still tickled pink. The funny thing with this quilt is when I had it up on the wall before I decided to do the cubes, it didnt seem alive at all and I was disappointed with it. Think its the cubes that really brought it to life - and it wont be the last time I use several different colour threads on a motif either!

I've now finished the quilting on latest OBW. The body of the quilt is just a meander in dark red, and the borders are done in orange, red, and pale yellow - I don't think the colours have come out too well because of the light. Quilting motif not too even as I did it freehand - but okay from a distance! Finished size is approx 53ins x 49ins. Just have to put a sleeve on now to hang it.
