Last weekend my sister & I went to see 2 quilt shows! :D The first one, "Quilting in the Garden" usually has most of the quilts suspended from lines in the oak trees, but it was raining Saturday morning, so they hung as many as they could in their buildings. (Sunday the weatherman forecast no rain, so it's possible they got them up then.) Even so, it was a terrific show (and of course, the sun came out while we were there too). I took a few pics of quilts & of the trees & flowers too. The 2nd show we went to on Sunday, was the Diablo Valley Quilters Guild show & it was wonderful. My camera batteries went dead, so only got 2 pics there...darn flash eats them up!!
I thought it might be easier to see them on a separate website, so here's a link for you:

    And one for a preview.....

Thanks for the mini-show Z! I really enjoyed seeing all those quilts. Quilt shows always inspire me so much. Just seeing other people's interpretations of patterns, designs, color combos gives me new ideas and a fresh look at our art. :)

I think they have to much talent in your area, y'all need to share it with us on the east coast. :-)

Thanks for the pictures. ALL of the quilts are great, however, the sunflower quilt is my favorite. I also like the pictures of the flowers and tree too.
