I had a great time, went to a 3 day class with Mary Ann and China from Gees Bend.
some in class had never sewn, some had never turned on a SM. There was help if needed, work at your own pace, make your own pattern as you went along. singing and prayer by China and Mary Ann.
I also got to try to get a couple of machines working again.

It looks like you really had fun. Several years ago I bought a kit with fabrics to replicate the original "Gees Bends Quilts". The quilts were touring in California then.

We had 4 ppl from California and one from Alaska, maybe you will be there next year. they are going to be in Sisters Oregon the 2nd weekend in July .
