After having both of my knees replaced in the same surgery, quilting was my lifesaver in rehab. I was hand quilting a quilt for a friend that I had pieced with projects she had cross stitched for her daughter.

Just having a small piece of my 'regular' life was wonderful. And was a wonderful way to pass the time with the passive exercise machines.

You look good and so does your quilt. All the best to you. And keep posting pictures to keep us up to date on your progress - quilt and recovery.
