    That is exactly what I was thinking. I think going the other direction would just "muddy" it up... as my father used to say.

    Sorry missed this earlier Barn...but you made the right decision. I like the circles...I saw them before, didn't know that you didn't! Its a great quilt!

    Wow! I loved it when I saw it in person, but the quilting has made this outstanding! I am glad you decided to let it go with the one direction. It does look as if wind in blowing through the leaves. Fantastic job!

    Thanks so much everyone! :-D I do love those circles-when I look at the unquilted version I don't see them! Weird! The only change I'd make is making the quilting lines a bit more curved towards the end of fall...more swoopy. Next time. :wink:
