?quilting suggestion for tree skirt??
#1
I got the idea for the tree skirt seing dunsters diamond log cabin on this board.
I wanted it a bit more christmasy and I think I will cut it open when most of the quilting is done.
I havent done more than meandering and a bit of swirling and I will try to be brave enough to go with a pattern this time.
Can you suggest maybe some beginners feathers? Easy ones? The diamonds have the size of 6" x 6" and I would like to do an individual pattern on the green and light color diamonds and and something continious on the red fabric. And how do you quilt logcabin?

Very pretty. As for quilting it, I don't know what type of machine you have but if you do X's threw all your diamonds and then crosshatching threw the rest of the outer colors that might be enough quilting. Just a thought.
