    Both are gorgeous, don't you just love the OBW it is so much fun,,, Love both of the quilts, your Mom's quilting is wonderful!

    Both are pretty, but I really like the 9-patch one. I am currently working on a 9-patch on point.

    wow...the OBW turned out amazing...great play of the colors! the 2nd one is just super stunning....HOT, HOT, HOT...love it!

    Both of your quilts are Super! Your OBW is the best example I've seen of using a "how the heck" fabric and turning out a beautiful quilt! The surprise of it all must have been exhilarating!
    Your West Texas Sunset is so gorgeous it takes my breath away! It takes a lot of color savvy to produce something like this and patience too! Your Mom did a great job on the quilting! Kudos to you both!

    I'll chime in with the rest. These are beautiful! The fabric for the first one is just so ugly. I haven't made a OBW and don't plan to. I'd never find a piece like that in my stash - but I'm glad you did. The colors of your sunset are sensational. That is one I have drawn out on graph paper so perhaps you have given me a push in the right direction. Thanks for sharing your lovely quilts.
