That is sooo touching! It's said that it takes a tragic event for people to come togther to make a difference! Oh but wow, you all really have made a difference! BEE VERY PROUD!!! BEAUTIFUL!!! :thumbup: :-P

What a wonderful assortment of quilts! I didn't know that Lutherans were such avid quilters. I thought we just... sung loudly.

Thanks for sharing this picture of those wonderful quilts. Sounds like a lot of people will be blessed from this project: the quilters who made the quilts, the beginners who learned a new skill, the experienced quilters who passed on their love of the art, and the recipients who are reminded they are loved even in the middle of disaster.

Thanks for sharing this! Our (Lutheran) church has a quilt group that makes quilts for Lutheran World Relief. We have a similar display in our sanctuary when the quilts are dedicated during the service before we ship them off. My goal is to make 12 tops a year for this project. Fabrics and battings are donated.
