Some wonderful folks here in town are holding a fundraising benefit for my nephew Levi, who was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgekins this past December.
Our wonderful friends rein and jnebug helped in such a big way and a BIG THANKS to both of them. The fabric for the baby quilt was donated by jnebug and assembled and quilted by rein. rein did the smaller lap quilt, and sent them out to us to be auctioned at the fundraiser. Both of them are just beautiful :).
The bigger blue bordered one I did, my mother and sister helped with purchasing the fabric. So, all around group efforts.
I promise better pictures of the quilts with Levi at the benefit this coming Saturday the 26th, but wanted to get them posted since I need to turn them over to one of the gals organizing the auction. She wants to display them at her place of business for a the rest of the week.
I want to thank sewbusy and Love2Quilt as well. Sewbusy has UPS'd a baby quilt for the auction that is scheduled to arrive Tuesday and Love2Quilt has sent a donation as well.
Thank you all sooo much ladies, your kindness is overwhelming.
Thanks also for all of the prayers and good thoughts from all the wonderful gals in chat, you are all soo appreciated and thanks just doesn't seem to say enough!!

Baby quilt fabric donated by jnebug and assembled and quilted by rein. It is soooooo cute!!

Larger lap quilt, my first "quilted" quilt. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
