    Default Quilts Done this Week

I have finally managed to get this quilt top finished and it has been a real chore. I have moved it around my sewing room for months and months but finally made myself get it pieced together. As usual I work without a real pattern so half way through I ran out of some of the fabrics but the black fits in nicely enough. Now it will go to the bottom of my quilt top pile and may never be quilted (unless I learn to love it again in months/years time)

The second little quilt is another red/white/black one using little scraps and is foundation pieced. I think I now have enough r/w/b combination quilts to have my own quilt show

    Enjoy

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that first quilt. I cannot imagine why it would be at the bottom of any pile. It's just lovely

Very pretty quilts. Now finish quilting them and let someone enjoy. You can do it!

both are terrific. if you hadn't said that the black in the first was not planned, i'd never have guessed it... blends just right.
