    I did not use a pattern-just used an alphabet I had in one of my quilt books and then found fabric that began with each letter letter(most of it from my stash)-double bordered those that needed it. As far as the counting quilt, i saw something similar on pinterest and just did my won measurements for the blocks and appliques. Will send you my measurements if you like or anything else you need.
