Quilts I've finished recently
One is my courthouse steps for my nephew and his wife (since they married in an old courthouse). The other one is the new baby's blanket done in the same color scheme, purples and lime green.
Oh my gosh, I'll try to post more!

More things I've finished!

The first one was for my eye doctor. The top is a deconstruction using Carol Ann Waugh's Stitch n Slash method with a pink "white", french knots and the sand feeling, blood shot veins, plastic over my pupil and the lightning bolt feeling I get. The bottom is a good eye day with smiling sun!
The next is my Stupendous Stiching endevor (again, Carol Ann Waugh). Then a baby quilt I made to sell and an owl towel with it's little buddy owl, also to sell. I've also made two "monster" hooded towels for the two monster quilts I made.

The first two are the front and back of a crib quilt I just made for a family member who arrived eariler this month. The butterfly was for a dear friend who had suffered very bad depression after the death of her husband. She is finally emerging as the strong woman I know she is. The last one was for another friend suffering from AIDS (not that kind! but it is an autoimmune disease) and has to have blood infusions. Just like chemo patients, she gets very cold during these. (I called this her little bit of Florida.)

I hear you girls... My hubby has kentucky basketball on the t v today too. I am gonna go and hide in the sewing room and try and be as productive as you are.
I just love the colors you are working with. It is so cheerful. Good for you to be so energetic in the few short days after christmas.
