I learn that years ago that you give to lift someone up not to just get rid of something. I helped with a coat closet at y church years ago and I was shocked what people brought in. I had someone bring me a old bed spread they had used as a drop cloth for painting with paint all over it and still had the nerve to say "Some one can still use this if they really need it." Or the Lady that brought me the her shoes our of the actic that had mold all over them. I remembered I smiled, thanked her for her gift and turned around and handed the box to my son and told him to trash them, I got to much good stuff to hang on to the trash.
We got to remember to give to up lift someone, that is what my heart say in my giving.
