Three of my grandchildren are moving to Sierra Leone, West Africa. I made them quilts so they can be hugged by a part of me while they are so far away.

My DGD, Abby, with her Disney princes quilt. The pattern was designed by Maxine Charleston, using Christmas fabrics. It was published in McCall's Quilting, Dec. 2002.

All three are great but I love the purple one! I'm sure they'll enjoy them while they're away

All three quilts are beautiful!!! It must be really hard to see them go, but they will always be hugged by you every time they wrap themselves up in your quilts!

What great keepsakes for your Grandchildren. They will remember you every time they see their quilts. Great job.
