I am making quilts for all my nieces/nephews (5) and their children (9) so am posting some pictures as they are given their quilts. This is a picture of my first niece and her daughter with their quilts.

The quilt for Jennifer was made from a free internet pattern titled "High Light" from allpeoplequilt.com and is found here - http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/projec...h-light_2.html

The quilt for Kendall was ad-libbed by me based on the fabric so there is no pattern for that quilt. The blocks are, however, basically log cabin blocks with fussy cut centers, framed in black with sashing between rows and columns.

Lovely quilts but I really think the colour choices for Kendall's quilt suited the young lassie.

Both quilts came out beautiful. And by the smiles on their faces I am pretty sure they agree with me!
