Absolutely gorgeous, all of them! What a treasure! I think it's wonderful that you are donating them to a museum so they can be admired by many! :)

They are beautiful. How can you part with them? I would use them and risk the washing when they got dirty. The Yoyo is exceptional. I wouldn't be able to pick a favorite bc they are all so beautiful.

Wow!!! What a great thing that you're doing. I know it would be very hard for me to part with those beautiful quilts while I'm still alive, but you'll bring lots of enjoyment to other people. Your DGM did fantastic work!

your grandmother was very talented. Why dont you get a keepsake made of the quilts in the form of a photobook?
They are books and you can put whatever photos you like in them and I am not sure but you can probably put text in too. That way you can put down the story of the quilts as well.
If you dont like that idea then take photos of the quilts and put them on canvas that way you can hang them on the wall and still enjoy them yourself.

How very special, I especially like the suggestion that you take photos of the quilts close ups & whole quilts & tell a little story in a Kodak Book or Shutterfly. That would be such a keepsake for yourself to enjoy.
The first quilt is such a unique pattern and so many pieces, whew!

These are beautiful! And what a wonderful tribute to your grandmother. I have a collection of 7 generations of quilts beginning with my great, great grandmother's quilt and ending with my granddaughter's. I cherish them and they will be handed down to my daughters and granddaughters when I die. By that time, maybe there will be 8 or 9 generations of quilts!
