quilts from my Pink period
#1
I made my dear neighbor a quilt because she had been so good to my husband before he died. She loved pink.
The chevron quilt had 20 shades of pind -- and I bought at least 25 before I was satisfied with the shadings.
I hate pink so I kept making things to use it all up

I love pink and I LOVE your quilts. Excellent work!!! Chevrons are perfect, very special. My 10 yr old son likes pink too. About a hundred years ago, pink was the "boy" color, symbolizing vigor, "baby blue" was for supposedly more tranquil girls. My son reminds us that God made all the colors, and it's only people who assign gender and other connotations. PInk rocks, and so do these quilts.

Beautiful!!! I also love pink. I think men look wonderful in soft pink shirts with grey, navy blue, or black slacks.
Watching Elizabeth the other night the men had on bloomers and panty hose.
OK WITH ME
