Red face Quilts for small animals guild service project...and good use of scraps!

Earlier in a picture post, (2-18-2015), I showed photos of quilts that are made to give out to children in stressful situations by police or firemen. I forgot to mention our guild rule is that the animal must be attached to the quilt.

Some members make ties or tack the animal to the quilt. Hair elastics work great also. I like ladyinpurple's guild's idea to put the animal in a small tote or as she called it a "buddy bag"

The monkey quilt photo shows the quilt rolled up and placed in a hair elastic band attached to the monkey. I included photos of other ideas for tiny quilts...ribbon tags are fun to add to the quilts, too. Enjoy!

Your quilts are lovely, they make me want to get back into making quilts for our Humane Society.
    Good inspiration !
