    Default Quilts for young friends

Made these for 3 of my very young friends (they are friends of DGD that I really love)..I just made up my own patterns and layouts for these. The embroidery on the travel quilt is from Embroidery Library. They are called "You are you", the red and black, "Midnight Cameos", the green (this fabric line is Tula Pinks which I love), "Travel in your Dreams",the red, gold and green. Each one represented something special for the kids they were made for.

They are all wonderful, you are a wonderful person to share your talents with your DGD friends.

Those are great. I'm sure the kids will love having their own special quilts. You put me to shame... I have three quilts to make that are wedding gifts for my son's best friends who have gotten married in the past year or are about to get married. Better get on them!

All are great, you are awesome to do this for friends of your DGD! My fave is the red/white/black, because of the color combo and the 'gals' on it, Love fabrics with 'glamour gals' ...

They will all be greatly appreciated! Don't be surprised if your DGD all of a sudden has made a lot of new friends, LOL!

You've done an excellent job. I'm sure they will be cherished....I know I would. There just needs to be more of us doing things like that for the younger generation. Thank you for sharing with us!!
