    Fine by me - I agree there's a lot of black. and I love it when elements of one border overlap onto another.

    hi ladies, well i'm really pleased with my progress!!
    i made all the tulip heads and leaves yesterday, even with a visit from family in the middle of it all!
    this morning i have ironed on and pinned everything into place. i think i quite pleased with it's placing... i will now make a start on the sewing down part!

    i'm very pleased with how it's turning out... pretty much what i had in my minds eye
