    Default Shakespeare In the Park

I have finally finished this quilt yesterday. We took pics of it outside. John put a tarp on the grass as I wanted you to see the entire quilt and the effects of the stars and reels. I also layed a sheet on top of the tarp, just in case lol.

So while we had the tarp down, I decided to take several of my kings size quilts and take pics also of them.

I don't really care for the ground view so John will rig up the old swing with a pole on the back so I can hang them and only have a few inches on the tarp and that should work better.

    Default More better Pics

Ok these are way better pics of this quilt. I am so proud of it. Hubby rigged up some long poles and we put a couple sheets on the ground and pinned the quilt to the line and this way you can really see the effect of the reels and the stars.

Rosey, Your Pineapple is one of those jaw dropping, gorgeous, how did you do it! kind of quilts. And now this next one is also working its way to the same stunningly beautiful category.

Love them both. Thank you for all your inspiration.

I have that Diamond pineapple book......!

Ube you can do that pineapple quilt. I did do a tut on it. You have to make a freezer pattern to make the many blocks or you can get her packet of paper patterns.

I always seem to migrate to the challenging ones don't I? lol. I have sewed professionally for many years now Ube. Now I only sew what pleases me. I haven't found a quilt yet, that I couldn't make lol.....
