I think you did a wonderful job on that $20 bill and I really do like the added applique! It does give it some added interest and makes it an original, for sure, and the buttons are perfect flower centers. Very cute!

I absolutely love this; love that you used your imagination to make something so lovely from low-cost materials. My hat (if I had one) is off to you! Did you have the completed design in mind in the beginning, or did it evolve as you went along?

I really like this quilt. I recently made a quilt with the Cheaper by the Dozen pattern and I was going to gift it to a charity but loved it o much that I was selfish and kept it. I recetly bought the fabric to make another quilt with this pattern. I like the simpler patterns and I am very busy with a jfull time job out of the home and I alos do long arm quilting for customers, so all quilts I make are very simple pattens. But it works for me because I am a fam of the Less is more" Club when it comes to quilts. I like how you added the rick rack and the flowers. Cute idea to really add to the quitl.

This was definately a create-as-you-go project. I bought the big floral just to cut out the flowers. I was going to use the yellow/black leftovers for a scrappy border. But thought it needed more connection - the appliqué seemed too random. Sewed the yellow ricrac on the wrong seam so made a design decision to leave it since I hate to rip. I'm glad I tried it cause I now have another trick in my bag but if were doing it again would make some changes.
