That is a spectacular quilt with wonderful colors, and all the more impressive because you had such limited space in which to do it. Your success tells me it is possible to quilt in an RV. How did you do the quilting? Did you have the batting and backing on the whole top at the same and wrestle it through the machine? Or did you quilt in sections? I'll bet you had to borrow table space to sandwich it, right?

You deserve a standing ovation. I love your quilt. And, to think of you working in such a limited space. Kudos to you.

It is absolutely gorgeous. And I know that it takes patience and more patience to piece & quilt in an RV. My avatar was cut and pieced in a 35' 5th wheel. Keep on quilting. You'll find it addictive. I see you're from West Yellowstone. You don't live in your RV in the winter up there, do you? I was born & raised in MT and my heart is still there. Love and miss the mountains & the prairies.

What a lovely quilt! It has a very rich look to it, and I'm sure it is very cozy.

I quilted it completely sandwiched. My Viking Topaz has a pretty wide throat so not a lot of wrestling was needed. My DH did help me hang the backing on a wall, sprayed it with a basting spray, added the batting, sprayed again then put the top over it all. Gravity helped keep it nice and straight so we just smoothed it out. No pins, which I prefer. For the quilting...I haven't done much FMQ but have read as much as possible....I read on Leah Day's site & on this Board that dropping the feed dogs wasn't necessary. ( Just put the stitch length to "0".) I felt I had much more control of the fabric as it didn't feel so skiddish. Once I got going it took on a life of it's own and 'poof'...after several hours of quilting..it was done ! I'm ready to get going on the next project !
