We did those on the embroidery machine. That part I did help with since I had to learn how to use my digitizing software to make them !

He is my son , and just turned 15 this week ! Needless to say he has been attached to the X-box for the past few days since he finished it ( though he is only allowed X-Box time for 2 hours each evening after dinner reguardless of what else is going on )

He did a fantastic job! It's a cool design. He does stitch in the ditch better than I do!

Back on board after a few years but just had to say your son ROCKS! Not many teenagers would have committed too such a long project...he is amazing and you are so blessed to have him. I see ribbons in his future.

Also, I just bought an embroidery machine and have no knowledge of zipping and unzipping etc designs I download. You tube I'm thinking. Do you have any lessons out there regarding Machine Embroidery, techniques? Also what is the name of your digitizing software you have ( down road might be something I might like to do). And lastly what embroidery software do you use to open your embroidery designs?

Again to your son...be proud of your accomplishments on your fair quilt..and please make more don't let your lessons from your mom go to the wayside...because some day you will have children and I know they would love to be by your side watching and learning quilting...its a great art to pass along!
