    I just finished this quilt for my soon to be 8 yeasrs old dgs, who is going to be a hockey player/racecar driver when he grows up

    He is sure to love it! It is really cute. I love how you made the border checkered flag but broke it up with a nice solid inner and middle. Really balances the busyness of the race track scene in the middle and the checkered flag outer border.

    Love it and his ambitions! When the rest of the players in the NHL head to the golf course for the summer, he'll be making extra money at the race course!
    My DS (now 28 and a marine biologist) wanted to be a backhoe driver, and run an animal hospital in the evenings and be a minister (like daddy) on Sundays.
