Simply beautiful, and I am not "in" to roosters!

    I remember your original post.
Is there a pattern or was this your design?
And it looks like your avatar is the compliment of the roosters?

I love them both and the chicken wire is genius.
    :)

Very eye catching! I'm not a chicken person but it just goes to show how color totally changes the look of things. Your work is gorgeous - with your applique trick I might rethink my dislike of applique and try it again...someday!

They're so nice and brightly colored. It's going to be so much fun to see the final outcome! You did a very nice job. I actually saw some of the chicken wire fabric at the LQS just the other day and was thinking that I wanted to make something with it. I should have picked some up while I was there.

Someone asked how I was going to sew them down. I think I will use sulky rayon thread and use lots of different colors, might as well, their supposed to be radical. Probably a blanket stich. What do you think? Do you think rayon thread will wash ok, I usually use it for wallhangings?

So, so cute! Where in the WORLD did you find the chicken wire fabric background? That really adds pizazz to those gorgeous chickens!
