My guild has a really nice tradition. Every year we make a raffle quilt to raise money for programs. And every year we also make a second, smaller quilt, usually similar to the raffle quilt. And those who worked on the raffle get a chance at winning it. We call it "The Workers' Quilt."

This is the Workers' Quilt for this year.

You can see photos of the raffle quilt I posted this morning and how similar this one is. The same blue fabrics in both, but I ran out of cream and substituted the tan, because I had 7 yards of it. (Stash rules!)

The raffle quilt is 80 x 100" and the Workers' Quilt is about 50 x 70". It's wonderful to see the raffle quilt ticket pulled and go to someone who bought tickets to support guild. But it's just as wonderful to see the name of a guild member pulled, and see their face when they win. All because they helped make the raffle quilt! Woohoo!

It's called Double Wrench. It looks similar to Churn dash. The blocks are just a dark fabric wrench an a lighter background. then we framed them with 4 triangles, either blue or tan. So the Double Wrench blocks look like they are on point. Quite simple and easy to sew, but a nice look.
