    WOW, thank you everyone for the awesome words :-) I believe i used 9 or 10 fabrics in the quilt (maybe a few less or a few more), I made it with a lot of the scraps left over from a baby quilt i made. It is done in flannel, and there is no quilting involved with this, i sewed 1/2 inch around everything..

    HUGE HELP was using spring loaded clippers :-) Hands did not hurt at all :-)

    Very, very nice. Love the colors. Did you use only flannel or did you put batting too? I'm thinking of making one for the new baby in my family.

    Love the rail fence pattern. I love doing rag quilts, so easy and fast. I use a pair of rag snips made by Fiskars (got them at Hobby Lobby with 40% off coupon). I have to snip in stages, snip, rest, snip, rest.

    Your choice of fabric is great. Did you use flannel or cotton?
