    very nice quilt. she will stay warm. i want to make a rag quilt sometime in the near future too. i too am going to get myself a pair of those scissors too.

    Very nice. I haven't made one with cotton , only used flannel. I think I might try that on a really big one, to be used as a bedspread. How big are you making yours. again great job :D

    I've been looking on line for patterns and they all show sewing a X on each one. But did you do that? Yours looks so much neater than the ones with the X. You really got me searching LOL when I should be working.

    Thanks for the nice compliments. No I did not sew the x in the center of each block. I started out with a 7 inch block of cotton, flannel and cotton. All cut 7 inch square. I used a 1/2 in seam. So ended up with 6 inch block. So far I have made 4 of these. Most of them I made 9 sq wide by 13 sq long. On the ones that I only used two colors on I bought 4 yards of each color and 4 yds of flannel. Hope this helps. If I can be of anymore help to you just ask. They are really easy to make.
