Rag Quilts for Special Bundles
When you have 18 grandchildren, the great grandchildren start multiplying. This year we have had great grandchild #6 in April and #7 and #8 are due before the end of the year. Here are two of the flannel rag quilts I just finished for #7 and #8. I love doing rag quilts out of flannel even though the cutting is not easy on the arthritis.
Here is the one for #7

And now the one for #8

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful, you certainly have your work cut out for you. Can't wait to see the rest.
We have 13 grandkids, so far the oldest one who is 19 hasn't decided to sow his wild oats yet as my Gram (who was 99 when she left us to go home to our ancestors) used to say......LOL

They look lovely! I like making rag quilts too. It took me years to find 'rag quilt snips.' Have you heard of them? JoAnn's sells them and boy do they make all that snipping a lot easier! I have only made them out of flannel (with batting in the middle). So warm and cozy. We always have at least 3 of them in the family room to snuggle under in the cold months or in the air conditioned summer home! Most of ours I've made from leftover pieces from other's!!!

My DH ordered me a pair a few years ago through Fons and Porter. If I had to do them with regular scissors, I don't think I could do them. Thanks for the heads up.
