    Love the quilt - the colors look like an assortment of wonderful Christmas presents. But I'm not sure I understand -- the edges of the 3" and 6" squares are just sewn down, edges left unfinished, not turned under or anything? Sounds too good to be true. Again, it's a beauty

    You have it exactly right! Only the 9" squares are sewn together. Everything else is left as is. It is such an easy quilt!
