Love your work. Looks more like an elephant nothing close to an aardvark. Cute as a button I might add.

I love the hobby-horses! And your comments are just too funny - that is such an Elegant Elephant.

Wonderful gifts! Love those hobby horses, esp w/o a pattern!!! I'll bet the kids loved them...have they named them yet?

Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments. The hobby horses were fun to make, but I haven't heard if the girls have given them names yet. My oldest granddaughter will be 2 at the end of March (she got the Zebra) and the youngest turned 1 just a few days before Christmas, so names may be a while in the making (though those two girls never cease to amaze me with their quick development & of course, time passes faster than any of us really like).

You did a really great job. I do love the Zebra, would love to have the Zebra on the end of my broom. Maybe I would use it more, than just for flying (per my DH). Still think it would look cute on the end of a broom.

'm sorry but I had to laugh at the aardvark comment! Too funny. I agree with the poster who said she was an elegant elephant! Wonderful job!
