    I think you should do a very small border (1-1/2 inches) to stop the pattern...with the white fabric you have or a soft beige tone...then bind it in one of the fabrics you used in the rail fence..or a similar colored fabric

    skip the border, unless you need to enlarge the quilt...the red is too much and light one is just not what it needs!

    If you feel the need for a border, I think one of the medium fabrics (or one of the darker shades in the medium prints) would look nice.

    I think using that very light border would detract from the main part of the quilt.
