    Hmmm - I would use a beige (darker) first / or only border & the red as second border or as the binding. Must play around, walk away and come back in the room to check out which pattern you would like best.

    I think that I would do a narrow (2 inch finished) in one of the blues, and whatever width border you need in piano keys.

    very nice RF

    I would try a very narrow black border of maybe 3/4 to an inch wide and then the red. The black will stop the quilt from moving into the border. A flange in black would be even better.
