    Default Rainbow Chevron

My SIL asked me to make a quilt for her daughter who was pregnant and the were not going to find out the sex of the baby. I was so excited and I went out and bought all these beautiful; bright colours. Then I spoke to the SIL and she told me that her daughter wanted a neutral quilt, well I said a rainbow can be for either a boy or girl. No she said, DD wants whites, creams, beige, neutral (BLAH) anyway I finished that one, didn't take a photo, I have never worked on such a boring project and hopefully will never again.
Anyway I was left with all these fabrics, so when another niece fell pregnant I thought I would make it for her. So here it is, I backed it in minky and it is bigger than most baby quilts but it will be a great size for a toddler.

Fabulous! I am also working on a baby quilt for a coworker. She knows she is having a girl and I too chose super bright saturated colors like you did. I love your bright rainbow chevron quilt.
