Default Rainbow Fish Quilt

This is a reversible Rainbow Fish quilt that I just finished for our soon to arrive grand baby girl, due on May 8th. It is Huge, 42" X 60". I guess it will be a long time before she outgrows this quilt from Grandma, LOL! The chain of ovals in the border was done with ruler work, then I free hand quilted a fish inside each oval. A fun quilt to make. The only difficult part was getting front and back lined up perfectly.

The quilting is adorable! And if by surprise it is a baby boy the colors are unisex. My parents were told they were having one boy. We turned out to be two girls! Whoops. : )

Cute! I love that it's not a traditional looking baby quilt. Nature/animals/fish/birds are always interesting to look at :-)
