    Default Rainy Sunday Afternoon Project

Hi All, It was a rainy day here in Upstate SC, so I decided to make a sewing machine cover for Mabel (my Singer 201-2). It took me all afternoon. I found a pattern off the internet and put my own twist on it. It was made with an orphan charm pack I had hanging around along with some left over yardage from a quilt that had the same theme (binding). There is a lining, I just didn't take a picture since it is not the same family as the outside. It is a dark blue flower pattern. This is probably the first quilted thing I've made where all the seams actually line up. Major accomplishment for me.

    Shari

I know Mabel loves her knew cover. It's amazing how something that looks relatively simple can take a lot more time than anticipated. It turned out cute!

Great. We all need covers for our machines. I had one long ago but some time back made another that is just a rectangle that lays over the machine. Works for me.

Cute and practical. I'm glad Mabel has her own quilt to keep her clean.
