I lived in Altus for a short time, hubby at the time was military and we lived there for 18 months and then got orders to Germany. Living there was hard for me since I had never left my home town of Las Vegas. They rolled the streets up at 6pm and nothing was open on sunday, that was hard coming from a 24hr town.

It's not that way now. Even in the small towns, if there is a Walmart it's 24 hrs and open on Sundays. Edmond is open till 10 or 11 now :D except for the Walmarts and the 24hr gyms.
