So glad he has loving people in his life to help him through this stormy time. Absolutely love the quilt. Love the fabric...the colors are so warm and inviting! Wonderful!!

Two weeks before Christmas, we took 2, 18 yo high school seniors into our family. They were in an abusive situation and living in a totally disfunctional household. Both were failing miserably in school. One had a grade of 14 in one of their classes. Now, two months later, we have 2 (although there is a ways to go with them) teenagers that are approaching adulthood with a much better outlook and the attitudes have improved. The grades of one have improved to being on the honor roll (was failing 2 classes and had low grades in the others). The other now has no failing grades and is improving each week. (was failing almost all on the classes). It is very difficult adjusting to the situation on both sides. However, love and guidance seems to be the way to go. It is very unfortunate that many of todays parents (?) have chosen to let the grandparents take over and fill the place where they have failed. Thank GOD your brother and his wife are willing to take this young man into their home and their hearts. The rewards are many. We will keep them all in our prayers. I am sure he will love this beautiful but "manly" quilt.

So sad what some children have to deal with. Hopefully this is a gift of an outstanding new journey for him.

I know he will love it because
    smeone cared enough about
    him to make it.
He needs to feel loved & wanted and this will do it.

Knowing nothing about the situation, I believe this beautiful quilt, made especially for him, will warm him inside and out. You've done something really special for this young man!
