That's my plan, except I don't get off until 4. Then the fiance is gone and I can work on my Black and white blocks! (I think, as long as fiance followed washing directions ;) )
OH yeah... I received the white fabric I ordered for the swap. I need to wash it and get the blocks done. Everything else is cut out, I believe, but I didn't like the white that I had.

I have yet to figure out what pattern I'm going to use.

the aged elegance...is that EQ design for another quilt, or the no diamonds quilt...you didn't have star in center?
Both of those pictures are beautiful whatever they are going with.
Wish I had an EQ6, but I have a ton of books and patterns, but I am like you, in that, I never do a pattern 'as is'. Got to put my own stamp on it.
I can only imagine what I might come up with, if I had one of those. :D

I'd be stressing about that! Here's hoping the perfect one to do comes to you!

It can be addictive playing with it and when I don't feel like sewing I usually end up doing that.

I decided on the spool pattern.

I like that one though I have never done it. I went with something "safe"... the stars that I just got done doing a bunch of for another quilt. At least I already know how to get them right!

I have 4 more of the small star point sections to sew, 13 patches each, and then I can sew all the outside rows on!

I probably won't get the two borders on today. I have to starch/iron, measure and cut for those still and both borders will be mitered because they are stripes that will meet in the corners.

    That is looking fantastic!!

I can't remember what colour you wish you'd changed... but I have to disagree, it looks just stunning as it is!
