    I "rescued" this quilt top from an antique shop in Fortuna, CA this summer. Brought it home and have started to hand quilt. The top is all hand pieced. Someone spent a lot of time on this top and I intend to make it special to hand down to my family.

    I have one that looks just like that. Someone in my mom's family made the top. We found it after my grandmom died. Had a lady at work finish it.....that was before I stated dabbling in quilting. I am on #5. It is so much fun!!
